Project ArtKids Presents "Kid Mob"
A Monthly Free Art Workshop for Kids
•Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
•Ashland Art Center, 357 East Main St. in Ashland
•All ages welcome with parental supervision
•Volunteers and tax-deductible donations needed.
"KID MOB" is our original, organic, free for all, open to all, art workshop
presented every first Saturday of the month by Project ArtKids.
All ages are welcome with parental supervision.
Cartoonist Curt Evans will lead the free cartooning and art workshop at the
Ashland Art Center on Satuday, May 5 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM/ Evans has
been cartooning for many years. His work has been in international publications,
T-shirts, newspapers and locally in print, advertisements and even RVTD busses.
Evans has a program called "scribble scrabble" where kids learn to cartoon using
simple shapes and imagination.
The mission of Project ArtKids is to give kids of all ages a voice and identity to
create and display works of art in a free form, creative and nurturing
environment. Our workshops are held on the first Saturday of each month.
The all-volunteer effort is looking for community spirit.
“Your generous support provides the tools for young minds to create magic,”
said project organizer Steve Barnard.
Project ArtKids is partnered with the
Multicultural Association of Southern Oregon,
a 501c3 non-profit organization.
